Brick Calculator

  • Brick Calculator is used to calculate the volume of the wall, volume of the brick, and the total number of bricks required.

Description

  • A brick is a rectangular masonry unit used to build walls, pavements, and other structural elements.
  • Traditionally, bricks are made from dried clay, though modern bricks may use other chemically cured materials.
  • Bricks are joined using mortar, adhesives, or interlocking mechanisms.
  • They are manufactured in various sizes, materials, and strengths depending on region and usage.
  • Blocks are similar construction units but are typically larger than bricks.
  • Lightweight bricks are produced using expanded clay aggregates.
  • Fired bricks are among the most durable building materials and have been used since around 4000 BC.
  • Air-dried bricks (mud bricks) predate fired bricks and often include binders such as straw.

Types of Brick

  • Building brick
  • Red brick
  • Cement brick
  • Clay brick
  • Interlocking brick
  • Fly ash brick
  • Fire brick
  • Refractory brick

Brick Calculation Formula

  • To calculate the volume of the wall:
  • Volume of Wall = Length × Height × Thickness
  • Brick volumes:
  • Volume of Half Brick = 0.03531467011 cubic feet
  • Volume of Full Brick = 0.07062934022 cubic feet
  • To calculate the number of bricks required:
  • Half Brick Count = Wall Volume ÷ 0.03531467011
  • Full Brick Count = Wall Volume ÷ 0.07062934022

How to Calculate?
